Negotiable dependant on candidate calibre and experience

Bonus Scheme

Commission based on 1.5% of all sales - (Realistic £7.5k)

Principle Responsibilities

To increase profitable sales of the company’s product range by:

  • Working with existing stockists (National & Ind Electrical Wholesalers 90% & Retail Lighting Showrooms 10%) to increase over the counter sales and ensure the product offer is sold to its maximum)
  • To establish new stockist in the regions target towns to maximise coverage.
  • To actively work with your electrical wholesaler and support where necessary in joint visits to electrical contractors and related customers.
  • To attend regional exhibitions and events & run “in branch” promotional activities to maximise sales.

Ideal Candidate

You will be a target driven sales person with a proven track record and a real natural ability to close.

With either a background in manufacturing sales into electrical wholesalers or an external salesperson for leading wholesalers you will be confident, professional and self-motivated.

You will have the ability to grow existing accounts by offering an excellent service and also possess the drive and desire to seek out new customers in areas where stockists are needed.

Good time management skills, an ability to present face-to-face and a good general technical aptitude are pre-requisites.

A working knowledge of or background in selling lighting would be seen as a distinct advantage but is by no means necessary
