External Sales Executive

To increase sales and profitability with the existing customer base and to develop new business within the designated geographical area. You will actively target contractor, local authority, OEM, maintenance / end user accounts. Once new accounts have been opened you will hold full responsibility for their management and development.
Ideally you will be currently employed in a field sales position for an electrical wholesaler, or a strong internal / trade counter person who is looking to make the first steps into External Sales.
You will possess the drive and personality to create new business and manage the existing customer portfolio. You will have excellent communication skills at all levels and the ability to provide a first-class service to your customer base. Effective time management and territory planning skills are also essential to the role.
