Principle Responsibilities

You will work exclusively with the UK’s largest Electrical Wholesaler in order to promote and expand sales of the company’s product range to the Installation and Specification Market.

Your time will be split as below:

  • 50% joint site visits with branch sales executives to carry out lighting surveys and provide a solution in line with the end customers’ requirements. You would then pass the project back to the technical team to draw up a lighting scheme or have the option to do this yourself.
  • 30% targeting customers such as Specifiers, Consultants, Architects, Local Authorities, Designers, NHS and the Education sector.
  • 20% engaging with key decision makers at Branch level with the UK’s largest Electrical Wholesaler. You will work closely with the Stores or Branch Manager to ensure that stock levels are maintained and increased where possible.

Ideal Candidate

You will be a tenacious and confident sales person with a proven track record within the industry and have the desire to work in a more technically biased role.

An LIA or LIF qualification will be seen as beneficial but is by no means essential – the company will put you through these qualifications if they are not already held.

Not afraid of a challenge, you will have a successful background in either electrical wholesaling or manufacturing sales. You will be naturally confident, professional and self-motivated as well as having the drive and ambition to get out in front of the customer base in order to grow the business.

You will be an excellent planner with the ability to manage your time effectively and have a good general technical aptitude.
